Mansion made of glass goes for a steal at $14.1m…

reduced from $45m asking price (but owner won't get much privacy)
By 'Daily Mail' Reporter

A seaside mansion in San Diego that was used in TV commercials but never occupied has sold for a bargain $14.1million – a third of the original $45million asking price.

The so-called ‘architectural marvel’ known as The Razor has closed escrow and was purchased by a mystery East Coast buyer who paid for the house in cash.

The property boasts a staggering 11,000 square feet - with four bedrooms and six baths, several fireplaces, a guest house, and an infinity pool - and was originally to be sold at an auction in September.
