
Ireland, Spain and Cyprus slump in global house prices league, while UK stagnates, but France and Turkey jump

Ireland is propping up the house prices table and popular destinations for British holiday home owners Spain and Cyprus are also suffering, but French and Turkish property values are up more than six per cent annually, according to a global league.
Newly released data for the Knight Frank Global House Price Index, which tracks the performance of the world’s mainstream housing markets, showed little overall growth between June and September 2011 – the latest figures available.
